IU Health ICU Survivor Center

The IU Health ICU Survivor Center has opened its center to all those seeking rehabilitation after spending time in the ICU with COVID-19 infection. The ICU Survivor Center provides patient-informed care starting with a whole-person health assessment to identify predominant symptoms and clinical needs. This initial assessment will involve meeting with the Center’s team of nurses, physicians and therapists to discuss each patient’s health goals and how to achieve them. The ICU Survivor Center also provides supplemental assessments to measure patient strength, balance, mood, cognition and quality of life. Finally, the Center works with each patient to create a tailored recovery plan consisting of health coaching, recovery interventions, and care coordination.
