Overview

Patients with long-term (greater than six weeks from initial COVID-19 infection) neurological, cognitive and other neuropsychiatric symptoms associated with COVID-19 can receive multidisciplinary evaluation and care at Loyola Medicine’s Neurology COVID Clinic.

The clinic is led by José Biller, MD, professor and chair, department of neurology, Loyola University Medical Center and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. In addition to Dr. Biller, the Loyola neurology COVID clinic includes neurologists Stasia Rouse, MD and Eugene Schnitzler, MD (for pediatric post-COVID patients).

In addition to expert care and access to Loyola’s team of neurological specialists, the clinic will refer patients to other specialists – including psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, pulmonologists, cardiologists, gastroenterologists, nephrologists, and nutritionists – as needed.
